How to get an "ENROLMENT KEY" to Enrol Students and How to Unenrol Students

Each student requires an "ENROLMENT KEY" to write a readiness exam. The "ENROLMENT KEY" is a unique, one time use key that can be found under "Enrolled users" in your Flight School's course. The key will allow one student to write one Readiness Exam. For a student to rewrite a Readiness Exam, they must be supplied with a new "Enrolment Key".

If the student has not been automatically unenrolled from the course, then they need to be unenrolled by the instructor before being given another "Enrolment Key".

NOTE: Students who are rewriting should be automatically unenrolled by the exam server. If the automatic unenrolment does not work for some reason, then the instructor will have to manually unenrol the student as per the procedure below.

Under "My courses" in the top left of the screen, select the appropriate course.

Step One: Front Page My Courses Dropdown

Once in your Flight School course, in the "Administration" Panel on the right side of the screen. Click on "Users".

Step Two: Flight School Course Page

On the same panel click on "Enrolled users".

Step Three: Flight School Course Page with User Dropdown

This page has two features:

  1. The "ENROLMENT KEYS" are listed in red. There are 5 keys available at any time. You can send the key by copying and pasting it into an email and sending it to the student or simply writing the key down for the student. Once the student has entered the key into their account, a new key will be immediately generated on the page shown below.
Note: If there are more than 5 students writing simultaneously, a key will first have to be used before a another key can be issued to a new student.
  2. The "X" indicated by the red arrow is used to unenrol students. This is needed if the student is rewriting an exam and has not already been automatically removed from the course after their enrolment period has ended.
Step Four: Enrolled User Page For Flight School Course

If you clicked on the "X" to unenrol a student, this page will load. Click on "Continue" to confirm unenrolling the student.

Step Five: Confirming Student Unenrol Page

The student has been successfully unenroled.
